You and Me - Bully Free Experience a one of a kind, uniquely interactive program of stories, songs, drama and more for the whole family with Sue Black, certified Bullying Prevention Trainer. Families welcome! Tuesday, January 31, 2012 7:00 p.m. Parker Junior High Please Save the Date for the 2nd Annual Community Christmas Tree Recycling Program co-presented by Irons Oaks and the Western Avenue Green Team. This free event is open to anyone in the south suburbs who would like to donate. Drop-off dates are Saturdays, January 7 and 14, 2012 from 9am to Noon at Irons Oaks. Trees will be mulched and used on the paths and trails at Irons Oaks. New this year is a Christmas Light recycling program. Old or broken light strings and extension cords will be separated and repurposed. Please pass this information along to your neighbors and friends. SMART Boards are here at SD161! The SMART Board is an interactive, electronic whiteboard which can enhance instruction and learning. The SMART Notebook software makes it possible for teachers to create content rich, dynamic lessons which address specific student skills.
