Dear Parker Junior High School Parents and Families,
I am excited and grateful to expand my leadership role in District 161 as the principal at Parker Junior High School beginning this school year. For the past three years, I have served as the Director of Learning and Instruction in the District Office.
Our district has implemented many exciting initiatives during my three years including new mathematics and English Language Arts Curriculum, STEAM education, and much more! I am truly proud of the progress in District 161, and I am always grateful for the opportunity to lead and learn.
Serving as the principal at Parker Junior High School will allow me to focus on the opportunities for improved communication, student learning, and culture and climate initiatives that will help propel Parker and our district to the next level. My goal is to ensure that all Parker students are safe, happy, and engaged in meaningful learning experiences. I share these values with the teachers, staff, parents, and administrators in District 161 and I am confident that we are on the path to success.
As the principal at Parker, it will be important to me that everyone feels welcomed and excited to be here! I will maintain this attitude as we approach challenges both big and small to create an environment that reflects academic excellence that is positive, fun, and motivating.
