District 161 is excited to offer summer learning programs for all students. Our programs will focus on reading and math instruction for students at all levels and enrichment programs. Our teachers, staff, and administrators are excited to make summer learning fun and engaging! Summer Academy students will receive incentives along the way for participating and meeting their goals! All students will celebrate at the end of the summer with a cool, ice-cream social!
Summer Academy programs will be a combination of in-person and remote options. Please review the information below and complete the registration form. Final classes will be based on enrollment and space. Registration is due by May 10, 2021. All D161 summer programs are free of charge for in-district students. All in-person classes will meet at Parker Junior High School. We will follow all health and safety guidelines for in-person instruction.

Summer Academy Location: Parker Junior High, 2810 School Street, Flossmoor IL 60422
- Schedule: Monday, June 7, 2021 - Thursday, July 15, 2021 (No classes on Fridays)
- No school Monday, July 5, 2021 (Independence Day Holiday weekend)
- Online Registration: March 26-May 10, 2021
- Morning Session: 8:30 -11:00 a.m.
- Afternoon Sessions:12:15 - 2:45 p.m.
