Parker Junior High School congratulates Wakana Hill for an outstanding achievement at the IESA State Golf Championship, held yesterday at Metamora Fields. Wakana secured an impressive 5th place finish, showcasing dedication, skill, and drive on the course. We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and look forward to celebrating many more successes in the future!

The Parker Junior High Softball team finished their season with a 0-2 loss to James Hart. This team played an excellent season of softball, gave 💯during every game and practice, and can be very proud of a 7-4 season. 🥎 Thank you to Coach Guana, Coach Green, and Coach Daggett for a spectacular season! Well done, PJH, you make us proud! The Falcons wish the Panthers good luck as they advance in their season.

On Saturday and Sunday, September 7th and 8th 2024, weather permitting, Flossmoor School District 161 will be applying an herbicide and a fertilizer to the district’s fields / grass areas at Serena Hills, Western Avenue, Heather Hill, Flossmoor Hills, and Parker Junior High. The products that will be used for this application are The Andersons Turf Products Fertilizer with Barricade Herbicide and Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide. These products comprise a selective broadleaf herbicide and a lawn fertilizer that will be used to control weeds / dandelions in these areas and will also fertilize all district lawns. Tonight was the first game in the girls softball cross town classic vs their current opponents and future teammates, the James Hart Panthers! Both teams played a great game with the Parker Junior High team coming out on top 11-10. Congratulations to both of these exceptional teams and their coaches.
