The District 161 KinderPrep program is a research-based program created by the University of Chicago. It introduces upcoming Kindergarten students to learning academic and social skills. We are excited to provide these learning experiences for our students. KinderPrep will be held at Serena Hills School, Monday - Thursday from 8:30 -11:30 a.m. There are no classes on Fridays.
District KinderPrep is free for incoming Kindergarten students who have completed their 2026-27 registration. Transportation will be provided for qualifying students. Breakfast will be available for all students attending KinderPrep.
