This afternoon in 5th grade we participated in Kindness Team Building activities to connect with each other, learn more about who we are, and commit to being kind and respectful every single day to each one of us. The students had a fun working together on the activities. More importantly they shared how they felt with one another and committed to working as a team. They have started a new daily affirmation activity and it was wonderful seeing the smiles, hugs given and hearing students say "this was the nicest thing anyone has written about me." "I want to hang mine up." Kindness can truly have a positive impact.
