We're continuing our staff appreciation posts! We can't thank our 4th and 5th grade teacher teams enough for their hard work and dedication. Rigor continues to increase and expectations are high to get students prepared for junior high. Thank you Ms. Rushing, Ms. Wirtz, Ms. Fiore, Mr. C. and Ms. Radeke for challenging students while providing care and compassion!



We're continuing our staff appreciation posts! A huge shout-out to our band and orchestra teachers Mr. Lopez and Mr. Diller. Thank you for all of your hard work in growing young musicians! Students have shown so much growth in skills this year as they've increased in their love of music. Thank you for all you do!



We're continuing our staff appreciation posts! We are so grateful to our 2nd and 3rd grade teachers for all of their work this year in growing readers, writers, and mathematicians! Our middle grades become more challenging as student expectations increase. Ms. Callahan, Ms. Fry, Mr. McGinnis, and Ms. Brown make learning fun and exciting!

Our incredible special education team does whatever it takes to help students achieve their academic and social-emotional goals! Their dedication to making sure students have everything they need to reach success is inspiring. We can't thank you enough for your passion in education, your creativity, and your commitment to serving students and families. You are always there when needed and your are appreciated!!!

It's Staff Appreciation Week! Our amazing specials team is full of energy, creativity, and incredible content knowledge around their crafts. Thank you to Ms. Dahlstrom for stretching students' critical thinking skills in STEAM, to Mx. G. for growing young musicians that love to perform and share their learning, to Ms. Kemp for encouraging young artists to think analytically and creatively, and to Mr. Salihar for supporting students in forming healthy life-long habits. You all allow students to shine in a variety of ways and we are so grateful for your dedication!


It's Staff Appreciation Week! Our lunch supervisors are a great team! Not only do they open up countless lunch containers, escort students to the nurse and bathroom and water fountain, and make sure everyone is safe and following the rules at recess. They are also tireless workers that provide supports to staff through copying, cutting, stapling, and laminating each day. Thank you Ms. Nia, Ms. Norwick, and Ms. White for your help, support, and kindness!!!


It's Staff and Nurse Appreciation Week! "Nurse Jill" Fredona is our Heather Hill medical superstar. Nurse Jill has seen it all (which says a lot in an elementary school of 330 students.) Every day she has a smile and a sticker for each student through thick and thin! Ms. Webster is the building's technology guru. Ms. Webster is always so willing to help in any situation and will get you exactly what you need to accomplish your digital goals. You are both so very appreciated for the work you do to support students, families, and staff!



It's Staff Appreciation Week! We are so thankful to Ms. Britten for supporting students in ACE and enrichment. Ms. Britten challenges students to think outside of the box and encourages all students to believe in themselves by building perseverance and strength. Ms. Wengert supports English Language Learners by through the deepening of vocabulary, written and oral communication, and social and academic skills. Students of all talents are lucky to have these teachers in their corner!



It's Staff Appreciation Week! We couldn't be more grateful for the work of HH's amazing Administrative Assistants. Ms. Blankenship and Ms. Moore do so much to support students, families, and staff each and every day. Their patience, kindness, and attention to detail is deep and rich. Their smiles and encouraging words to students and staff make the office a welcoming place to be. Thank you for all of your hard work. Heather Hill would be lost without you!



It's Staff Appreciation Week! Our Multi-Tiered System of Supports team is phenomenal! Ms. Harper, Ms. Gallagher, Ms. Giffey, and Ms. Miller do whatever is needed to support student growth. These staff members help guide data analysis, provide targeted small group instruction, and are assessment experts. They are also some of the most flexible, kind, and helpful people you will ever meet. Thank you for always being willing to support whenever and wherever there is a need!


It's Staff Appreciation Week! We couldn't be more thankful for everything Ms. Larocca does as Instructional Coach to support students and staff everyday. From co-teaching, to finding instructional resources, to providing professional development, to planning PBIS celebrations and so much more. Thank you for your leadership and thoughtfulness. You are appreciated!


It's Staff Appreciation Week! Thank you to our HH Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher teams for taking such amazing care of our youngest learners. Ms. May, Ms. Jendra, Ms. Daly, and Ms. Rogers have so much energy--not to mention bucket loads of patience and kindness. Thank you for making school fun and challenging for our littles!



It's Staff Appreciation Week! We'd like to thank our HH custodial staff for keeping the building running smoothly. Thanks to Mr. Jablonski, Mr. Love, and Mr. Adams, Heather Hill is clean, bright, and safe. This is no easy task with 330 elementary students! We appreciate everything you do!



May 1 is Principal Appreciation Day, an excellent chance to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our school's fearless leader, Ms. Humm. Let's take a moment to recognize her efforts in fostering a positive learning environment and guiding students and staff toward excellence.
