Girls volleyball game tonight against Columbia Central. Our 7th grade team lost two in a row. 8th grade girls won 2 in a row. 25 to 17 and 25 to 20.

Celebrate the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday tomorrow with the annual Day of Service! PJHS is hosting a toiletries drive for the local shelter. Donations will be collected at the PJHS main entrance tomorrow from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Girl’s Volleyball season has gotten off to a great start. Our Lady Falcons had their first game against James Hart Monday 1/10. Our 7th grade team lost to Hart 19-25; 22-25 while the 8th grade lost 3-25;10-25.
The girls played Chicago Heights Middle School at home last night. Both our teams lost but played hard. The 7th grade lost 15-25;15-25 and our 8th grade lost 17-25;14-25.
Both teams came out strong in tonight’s games against Brookwood! Our 7th grade girls won 25-14;25-10 while the 8th grade won 25-15;25-14. Way to go Lady Falcons!!! The girls next match is Wednesday 1/19 against Colin Powell. Good luck Ladies!
Both Boys basketball teams continue dominate the court in their last 3 games. The 7th grade team beat Memorial on Jan 5 with a score of 44-31. They pounded Chicago Heights middle school in last nights game with a score of 81-29 and defeated Brookwood Junior High in tonight’s game winning 47-41.
Our 8th graders beat Memorial Jan 5th with a score of 63-48. They dominated the court against Chicago Heights Middle School last night with a score of 62-20 and defeated Brookwood Junior High in tonight’s game 63-28! Their next game is January 19th against Colin Powell. Good luck Falcons!

Reminder that our second COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 16 at Normandy Villa. The clinic is open to all Flossmoor School District 161 and Homewood School District 153 families and staff.
There will be first and second doses, boosters, and pediatric doses available during the clinic.
