Yesterday we kicked off celebrating Black History Month with an amazing presentation from out PTO. This year we are focusing on learning about HBCUs (Historically Black College and Universities) and were fortunate to hear from the AKA sorority featuring our own Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Harrison, the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the Chicago State marching band!

What a wonderful day of service with the Jack and Jill Monarch Cities Chapter. We are thankful for the donations as hundreds of hygiene kits were assembled for our local PADS shelter. Participants also learned about the value of our communities from the guest panel.
