Cook County Public Health officials and the offices of Tony Preckwinkle and Stanley Moore are hosting a public COVID-19 testing event on October 7. Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the River Oaks Shopping Center (200 River Oaks Center, Dr. Calumet City) there will be 300 tests available on a first come, first served basis. There will also be women's health education and referrals, HIV testing and food giveaways, as supplies last.
