4th Grade Students & Parents: Now is the time to sign up for beginning orchestra!

This year, violin is the only instrument being offered to 4th grade students.

To participate in Orchestra, you will need to do the following:
- Complete the Google form that is linked above.
- Obtain an instrument (details below).
- Obtain a book and a music stand (details below).
OBTAINING INSTUMENTS AND MATERIALS
Quinlan and Fabish (http://www.QandF.com), a reputable music company that services our district, will have a representative present at our Beginning Orchestra Information Meeting. The representative will present information to you regarding renting instruments, buying books, and buying music stands. You are not obligated to rent through the company, however, Quinlan and Fabish provides quality instruments and makes weekly service visits to Parker, which makes repairs and maintenance easy and convenient. You can contact Quinlan and Fabish to make arrangements to rent an instrument and get the proper materials for your child’s first lesson.
Essential Elements Violin Book 1 is the book that will be used this year in Orchestra. You can purchase any music stand that you’d like.
Instrument Sizes vary from student to student. To determine the violin size that your child will need, please use the following diagram.
